What the game is
Three Villagers is a medieval real-time strategy game made for phones. You start with three villagers: chop wood, gather food, gold and stone, build houses and barracks, go through three ages, Dark, Feudal and Castle, wall your town in and lead an army to the enemy base. We started from the mechanics of Age of Empires II because we grew up on them. That is the base, and from there the game grows into its own: short matches, controls made for a finger, the editor and whatever we come up with together with the players.

Questions
- Is the game free?
- Free right now, the game is in early access. Later maybe cosmetics and an ad-off, or a one-time price, but never pay-to-win. There are no build timers, paid speed-ups, VIP levels or gacha.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No, the game opens in the browser. On an iPhone you can add it to the Home Screen from Safari, and there is an APK for Android.
- Is it an Age of Empires clone?
- No. We started from the mechanics of Age of Empires II: villagers, resources, ages, walls, counters. That is the foundation we build our own game on: 10–15 minute matches, controls made for a phone, a map and scenario editor, ideas from players in Discord. Every update takes the game further from where it started.
- Can I play with a friend?
- Yes. Create a match, send your friend the link and they are in. More players can join too.
